Charlie Pittman here. I attach a picture of
the Bighorn around the grill . . . too hot at this pool party for an
actual campfire, so we settled for a grill which doubles as a music
stand. I love the Mandola! The sustain and the tone help with the
entertainment value. Also if the guitar players get lost in some new
music (or old music unfamiliar to the younger generation) the lower
voice of the mandola can help carry the accompaniment for leading
singing until the guitars come back in.
